Phlebotomists should maintain a safe, clean and professional environment, ensure required records and documentation and coordinate with supply chain department on inventory, making sure there’s enough supplies on site to complete daily testing requirements.

Phlebotomists are expected to perform specimen collection with confidence, following established protocol and procedures. Ensuring accurate patient information on a paper or electronic requisition form, then packaging and shipping all specimens to Helix Diagnostics for processing and testing. The phlebotomists are responsible for collecting on site tox (urine and saliva), blood, and molecular (e- swab) specimens from patients. Our phlebotomists represent the face of Helix Diagnostics to patients and our clinics.
